20-year-old Rachel Zegler is Disney’s choice for a Snow White live-action remake. The actress, who is already casted in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story”, also brings names like Ansel Elgort, Maddie Ziegler and Rita Moreno, and it’s expected to come out in December 10th 2021. (check out the teaser of the movie) . In addition, she is also confirmed in the cast of “Shazam! Fury of the Gods”, the sequel to the movie released in 2019.

The film will be directed by Marc Webb, whose curriculum includes productions such as: Gifted; 500 days of summer and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man movies. Webb even stated, “Rachel’s extraordinary vocal abilities are just the beginning of her gifts. Your strength, intelligence and optimism will become an integral part of the rediscovery of joy in this classic Disney fairy tale.” Furthermore, the soundtrack was left in the hands of Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, renowned names who share outstanding productions such as La La Land and The Greatest Showman.
