After Blinding Lights broke the Bilboard Record by staying inside the Top 100 for 88 weeks, The Weeknd seems to have new intentions for the future of his career. On august 2nd on the official The Weeknd Youtube Channel we recieved a video titled The Dawn Is Comming (Teaser) with CGI of a purple ocean and an orange sky with a sunrise fading in gradually and Take My Breath as background music. We speculate that we’ll have a new release called The Dawn by the middle of 2022 and the firts single will be Take My Breath.

In addition, the singer recently announced that he will no longer be submitting his songs for the Grammys. The controversies linked to the award and the name of the singer were commented during an interview with GQ, where he quotes:

“I just don’t care. Because that will never be the reason why I do what I do. It never really was before. And I’m glad that I can make music and not have to think about that. I’ll never be in that conversation ever again.”
