Yesterday (10), Thimothée Chalamet published a picture on his social media giving us a first look of him as the protagonist for the upcoming movie Wonka.

Expected to be released in March 2023, the third adaptation of Roald Dahl’s novel by Warner Bros will be a musical/fantasy movie directed by Paul King. Differently from the two previous installments, the movie is going to reveal the character’s origin, focusing on a young Willy Wonka from his earliest adventures to even how he got to meet his Oompa-Loompas.

Besides Thimothée Chalamet,  Olivia Colman, Matt Lucas, Rakhee Thakrar, Rowan Atkinson, Keegan-Michael Key, Sally Hawkins, Jim Carter, Simon Farnaby, Mathew Baynton, Natasha Rothwell and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith are also in the cast.
